Job Description

Circadia Group is looking for an experienced sales leader with existing client relationships to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate would have extensive sales experience and a strong foundation in the energy services or technical services industry. An engineering or architectural background is beneficial and preferred to engage in technical discussions around what we do and how we do it. The Sales Executive will be responsible for collaborating on portfolio development, go-to-market strategy, marketing communications, CRM deployment, and increasing our sales results. Most importantly, the Sales Executive will be responsible for delivering on the performance defined in our annual business plans. We are looking for a results driven leader who will leverage their existing relationships added with our strong reputation, significant product portfolio, and exceptional team of subject matter experts.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate sales of our portfolio of products in alignment with our go-to-market strategy and sales process.
  • Meet “orders” sales and new meeting/client introduction goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs, pain, budget, and time frame that align with our services/solutions.
  • Conduct thorough clients’ needs analysis to layout key contacts, org chart, client interests, entertainment plan, budget, etc.
  • Identify and prospect new clients and leads through various channels and tools.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the value proposition of Circadia’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and the Senior Leadership teams to develop and execute effective strategies to improve client outreach and generate new business.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular and structured feedback received from clients and prospects about our offerings and value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports and sales forecasts to management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have existing relationships in the Higher Education, Facilities, Pharma, and/or Healthcare markets – preferably in New York City or another large metropolitan area in the northeast or mid-Atlantic regions.
  • Ability to quickly identify opportunities based on investigating client needs, urgency, initiatives, and budget.
  • 10+ years of proven sales experience in one of the markets above.
  • Experience in energy consulting, engineering services, or a similar technical service.
  • Experience with a CRM tool and an understanding of the importance of documenting sales activities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, architecture, or similar technical background, or previous energy/technical services sales experience
  • Comprehensive business fundamental skillset (forecasting, budgeting, performance evaluations, communications, presentation development and delivery).
